Estilo Furniture proudly hosted Adelaide’s design community at our showroom for an exclusive evening with Knoll – one of the world’s most celebrated modern furniture brands. The event was part of Adelaide Design Week 2025 where our focus was on Knoll’s pioneering vision of Total Design and its enduring influence on architecture, interiors, and furniture.

The evening’s panel discussion centered on the groundbreaking concept of Total Design, pioneered by Florence Knoll. Her philosophy was that furniture should never stand alone. Instead, it should be part of a holistic environment, where architecture, interiors, textiles, and objects come together seamlessly.

This approach reshaped the mid-20th century workplaces and continues to influence today’s design thinking, whether hospitality venues, or residential spaces or contemporary office environments. the Estilo showroom provided the perfect setting for this exchange of ideas.
